One of the most popular trails on Deer Isle — an Island Heritage Trust preserve at an old granite quarry on Settlement Road in Stonington. About 1.5 miles of trails across wide expanses of pink granite with panoramic views of Merchants Row islands and Isle au Haut. The pink granite here was used in the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. Dogs allowed on leash. Year-round.
