Pine Hill Preserve

Deer Isle, Maine 4.7 (23)

A 7-acre Island Heritage Trust preserve on Little Deer Isle with a short but steep climb up a granite outcrop. From the top you get a clear view north and east: the suspension bridge, Caterpillar Hill, Penobscot Bay. The climb is only 0.5 miles but rates 'challenging' because of the pitch. Dogs welcome. Worth it if you're already on Little Deer Isle.
