Carolyn Walton paints Deer Isle and Maine landscapes and runs her own gallery and studio at 131 North Deer Isle Road. Regular open hours Thursday through Sunday, 10–5, plus she's open by appointment any time. Her work is also carried at the Jud Hartmann Gallery in Blue Hill. Good stop if you're heading north through Deer Isle village.
