Barred Island Preserve parking

One of Island Heritage Trust's best preserves — a 2.5-mile loop trail off Goose Cove Road with a sandbar crossing to the island that only works at low tide. Plan your timing around the tides or you're wading. No dogs, no fires, day use only. The parking lot fills fast on summer weekends.
